Some airplane shots for you.
EDIT: Kinja strikes again. Here’s the second pic:

Is that the moon, at the top of the first pic?

Or the Grim reaper. Hopefully the moon.

I love geography but need a hint. First pic is a big flat grid, but with diagonals. Could be Houston, Chicago, lots of places.

Aye. Chicago

I..... Actually have no idea

Wow...that was my gut feeling in the first second or two, despite only having flown over Chicago once in the daytime.
Or thousands of times in MS Flight Sim :D

Funny, I live in Chicago and my gut said the same thing at first - not that I could place it exactly, but it just looked familiar.

Something about the straight streets, the angled cross street, and the lazy arc of the interstate through it all. I thought it was Chicago at first, too.

Yeah, and now it’s bugging me trying to figure out where exactly it’s at—

OK, I’m guessing you flew into O’Hare, and landed to the west?

Actually, left from Midway and into Orlando international airport.

This was right after we hit 10,000 ft and were on our way to OIA and I looked it and thought it looked cool, so out came the camera!

Ah, that’s down south somewhere then - funny, it looks like it was taken a lot lower than 10,000'. I love looking out the window and identifying landmarks—

I know right he said we have now reached 10k feet I looked out and was like huh

It’s the bottom part of the winglet.
